Clauses that I have done to get this badge
Have a clear-out and donate a box to a local to your local charity shop
I have done a clear out for Butterwick Hospice as they help children with complex needs in the North East and I know someone who goes there and I wanted to support them.
However I don’t want to anymore they have let me down twice when I wanted to volunteer for them. The last time I went they said I could volunteer to my support worker then they let me down after doing a trial shift on the till and it went well and I was going to start the week after I got back from my holiday. However on the last night I just happened to open my email and guess what? I got the dreaded email to say that they don’t want me to volunteer there anymore because I’m a health and safety risk. I don’t see how as I was fine on my trial shift.
There’s to say I won’t be supporting them ever again because it was twice that they said I can volunteer but unfortunately it didn’t fall through.

Volunteer in a meaningful way for a local charity
I volunteer for my local girl guiding unit and I’m a unit helper there I want to be a leader there and get my leadership qualification so I can hopefully take them on trips. I have done my first aid training and my level 1 safe space training and my online training to become a unit helper
Find a game that’s new to you in a charity shop and play it
I found a game to play it but I didn’t get chance to play it as my support worker at the time wasn’t very nice and wouldn’t read the instructions to me and I ended up having a meltdown over it.
